Photos from the fashion/grunge-inspired shoot I did last week are now published on Fashionising.com, a website showcasing the latest in fashion trends and fashion inspiration. Here’s a glimpse of some of the images. If you’re interested in seeing more, click on the link!
The photographer and I were inspired by the suburban setting of semi-dilapidated houses and deserted streets. We decided to shoot with the theme in mind of a girl waiting for her ride, feeling sort of lost/lonely with no one around to talk to.
I enjoyed experimenting with the looks and being creative with the lip colours – I tried out fuschia, red and pale coral and they were all a lot of fun. I used mainly OCC Lip Tars as they give off a really saturated colour without drying out the lips. They apply really opaque and it was super easy to get the colour payoff I wanted.
All in all, I love working on magazine editorial-type shoots and hope to do more in the future!
